Peer review is conducted by the conference organizing committee under standards set by the series, independently cross-checked by the CPSM Editorial Advisory Board and the Editor-in-Chief, who hold final authority over acceptance. The people who carry out each part of that work are listed below.

The Editor-in-Chief sets the editorial standards of the series, evaluates conference proposals with the Editorial Advisory Board, leads the cross-check of each volume, and makes the final decision on acceptance. The Editor-in-Chief may reject any paper that is out of scope, breaches the ethical standards of the series, or shows evidence of misconduct.

The Editor-in-Chief is also the proprietor of the publisher. He takes no part in the handling of any conference proposed by Sricity International University, his employer, or any conference at which he is a speaker, session chair, or organizing committee member. In those cases the Chair of the Editorial Advisory Board takes his place, and the volume front matter records the recusal.

The Managing Editor coordinates the work between the editorial office and each conference: document collection, schedules, and correspondence with volume editors. The Managing Editor is appointed by the publisher, is not a volume editor, and does not take acceptance decisions.

Volume Editors

Each conference names its own volume editors, normally three to five, who are confirmed by the Editor-in-Chief. They must include at least one editor from outside the host institution, and hold the rank of Associate Professor or equivalent standing. Volume editors run peer review for their conference, recommend papers for acceptance, and sign the Statement of Peer Review. A volume editor may be an author on no more than one paper in the volume, and that paper is handled by another editor. The volume editors of each volume are named in its front matter, on its table of contents page, and in its Statement of Peer Review.

Editorial Advisory Board

The Board advises on scope, policy, and ethics, evaluates conference proposals with the Editor-in-Chief, and cross-checks the peer review of each volume before it is accepted. It has 15 members from six countries: India, Malaysia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Ten of the 15 work outside India. A member who is a volume editor or an author in a volume takes no part in the cross-check of that volume. Members are listed alphabetically by surname.

Board Composition

The series keeps the Board to four commitments: at least one member for each discipline group in scope, at least 40% of members from institutions outside India, members of Associate Professor rank or equivalent research or industrial standing, and a spread of gender, geography, and career stage. Every member listed has agreed to serve, and the list is reviewed each year.
